Oil moisturizers
So I’ve recently been on a search to find natural skin care products that are perfect for anti-aging and keeping your skin fresh and plump.
The key is to find a moisturizer that has the least amount of toxins since toxins causes wrinkles and free radicals to form throughout the body causing the body to age faster.
The perfect solution are oils! Coconut oil, olive oil, Argan oil, maracoja oil. All amazing for the skin.
Using oil to wash the face and moisturize will definitely preserve your skin, moisturize it and feed it the healthy fats and minerals that it needs to look it’s best.
Clarin’s Blue Orchid Face treatment Oil $57 What I’m currently using as a one step moisturizer. Smells amazing!
Tarte 100% Pure cold pressed Maracuja oil $48 tried and true, this Oil really works and is also a One step for your beauty routine
Bobby Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil $66 I’ve used this for many years to wash my face. However I’ll be trying olive oil to compare results
Good ol’ fashion Organic Coconut Oil of any brand. Used to remove makeup, wash face and moisturize skin. I will be trying other brands in the future for an update. Also amazing for the entire body
Extra Virgin Olive oil (budget friendly) used to wash face, remove makeup and even moisturize. Add with sea salt or baking Soda as a face exfoliate/scrub. My new favorite product
All of these products have permanent home in my skin care collection, especially now that it’s winter time our skin can get especially dry so the need to keep our skin as moisturized as possible is key.

Peach Nails for Summer! My current color of choice for my manicured hands. As fall approaches, I’ll be switching to an elegant pink and white.

Fashion and Makeup icon of the week: Vanity
I love the early styles of the 80’s and 90’s where women were mostly rocking their sensuality and beauty through “natural” hair styles, chic makeup with bold lips and brows, lots of oversized jackets and pearls. Cream and black were the two focal colors of most photo shoots. Vanity is my person style and makeup icon of the week. This week I’ll be channeling her style in my photos for Instagram and my blog (stay tuned.) Here below are some amazing photo inspirations of the late style and fashion beauty of the retro 80’s.
I believe Vanity was of Native American origin this rocking the crown of feathers suit her wonderfully.
The inspiration I draw from this photo is of Vanity’s big shades, blinged out bracelets and oversized jacket not to memtion the big dark hair.
The oriental accents with a set of bangs.
dark khajol eyeliner around the eyes really help center the attention to the eyes rather than the lips. Alsp the jacket is giving me life and so is the big hair.
Im really feeling the motorcycle style that she and her late beau Prince rocked to the utmost level in the 80’s.

Cream colors, pearls and diamonds. A glamour girls best friend.
Vanity always had big natural tresses falling just past the shoulders, bangs to die for.
What I love about this picture is the sophistication and elegance each photo captured of Vanity.
Lets face it Vanity paved the way for JLO, Selena, Ariana Grande, Nikki Minaj ect. Her style is timeless and will always have a corner to be celebrated on my blog.
Turban Fever
I have something to admit!! I have Instagram turban fever! I’ve been obsessed with turban tying of all different forms and have been giving my wooly fro a break from manipulation while it continues to grow out. I’ve adopted the art of turban tying into my daily lifestyle for spiritual purposes and it has definitely helped the light from within to shine.

Makeup of the Day
Currently, I’ve been in the mood for dewy natural looks that are elegant and simple. It usually takes me about 45 minutes to do my makeup if I’m contouring with creams and powder. This particular look gives me that chiseled “jlo” contour look with a dewy healthy glow finish I like to go for when taking photos for my Instagram or blog. Below I’ve posted the products and colors used to achieve this look! Enjoy!!

Diorshow Mascara in 090 This is an absolutely beautiful mascara if you know how to apply it. ive been using Dior mascara products for about 3 years now, the mascara lasts a very long time.
Lancome Artliner in color “Noir” didnt like this liner at first but i realised you have to “shake it” before using to get best results. One of the best makeup tips that i have is to use black eyelone around the eyes, it makes a HUGE difference.
Maybelline Matte Lip in Clay Crush #656 Ive been using this lipstick for weeks now mixing it with literally everything! Darler colors, lipglosses and other nudes. it just creamy, doesnt dry out my lips and it lasts a while on the lips. Great product.

So, we are now reaching the end of February and I notice from month to month, I tend to use different products that I feel match the mood of the weather and season.

Peter Thomas Roth sunscreen lotion has completely replaced my current moisturizer. I researched and found out that wearing a sunscreen lotions actually helps prevent wrinkles and other damage caused my the environment. it also has essential vitamins to keep skin plump and healthy.
The X ring is giving me life! Mine is gold over sterling silver with beautiful sparkling rhine stones. Obsessed!! However, I have recently misplaced mine lol
Okay! For all who dont know, I am a new Mary Kay Consultant and i must say this is absolutely my favorite or the favorite February Favorites! This isnt my favorite perfume of all time (Coco Mademoiselle would have to take that place 😌) But this perfume is my fragrance of choice this month after just finishing my entire bottle of YSL Manifesto. I now only use 1 perfume a month and felt like going old school with it! On some people, white diamonds smell morbid, on me it smells like posh upper echelon rich😁👏🏾 It is feminine, elegant, soft and it lasts All.DAY.LONG. Not for the faint of heart but for the ambitous daring woman!!
My soap of choice this month and I absolutely love it! It really does help me to relax and the aromas smell absolutely heavenly. I’m about half way threw, and ready to start one of the millions of other different soaps i collect under my sink! Every month is a different soap, but this soap is helping me to have an amazing February 😌
Ah! My favorite current tea that i am absolutey obsessed with!!! It took quite a while to receive this tea in the mail (about 1 month) . The results can be amazing when applied to a daily 1 hour workout regimen, vitamin intake plus a well balanced clean diet. This can help you lose an extra 10 pounds in 2 weeks and I absolutely love the effects this is having on my physique! Last but not least, I have here my proffessional home whitening system! This is a must have before passover for all my brothers and sisters who keep the holy day. You are suppose to use this for 14 days consecutively and then another 2 weeks, you use the blue gel to help replenish any minerals that your teeth needs to stay healthy befoee bleaching again in another two months or so. I purchased this item on groupon several months ago and have now pulled it out to help brighten my smile before the big event coming up. Love this stuff!

Makeup Of The Day!
Today’s makeup look was used with all drug store products except for the foundation. My foundation of choice today was Clinique, my lipstick NYC, lashes by Vegas Nay which I’m loving for the price and eyeshadow was found at a local beauty supply store called santèe!! I love this look for late winter 😄
